【5.11】Invitation to the onsite HKMA Forum on Climate Risk Management by SFC
Dear HKCAMA members,
HKMA is co-hosting the Forum on Climate Risk Management with the Environment and Ecology Bureau (EEB) and Development Bureau (DEVB) of the government on 11 May 2023.
The forum aims to increase the financial industry's understanding of the Hong Kong Government's work on climate change adaptation and resilience. It will also introduce useful official climate data and resources which will be relevant to financial institutions' climate risk management and analysis. At the forum, representatives from the Government and the CASG will cover themes on climate projections, climate adaptation and infrastructure resilience, emergency response to climate change, and cross-sector data resources. Details of the Forum are set out in the table below.
HKMA has offered a number of seats to SFC, and we are pleased to receive the invitation from SFC to extend the opportunity to our HKCAMA members. 5 seats will be reserved in total. It is on a first-come-first-serve basis, and only up to 5 representatives can join the forum. Please complete and return the registration form if you are interested to attend. Your reply by 5pm 27th April is much appreciated.
