【11.13】Invitation to SFC Forum on Sustainability Disclosures

Dear HKCAMA Members,

To support a global framework for investor-focused corporate sustainability disclosures, the SFC has announced its intention to work with key stakeholders in Hong Kong to develop a comprehensive roadmap with a view to adopting the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. In this connection and to build industry awareness and preparedness, the SFC will be hosting a Forum on Sustainability Disclosures on 13 November at 10:00-12:30 HKT at its office. This forum will also discuss the core elements of a robust local ecosystem to implement the ISSB Standards, as well as Hong Kong’s role as a centre for transition finance across Asia.

We are writing to invite members of the Chinese Asset Management Association of Hong Kong to participate in this forum. Please see attached formal invitation letter and agenda for further details on the event. Grateful if you could complete the registration form by 3 November 2023. Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have already registered the Forum, please ignore this email.
